The Royal Spire

Back in the Griffin Strongholds I had always heard of the spires of Bardingburgh, and the tallest of the them all the Royal Spire towered into the clouds and mists, far away from the raging sandstorms below. A beautiful, elegant construction even amongst the Mason Trinity, of which the Faux Trimas style it draws the most inspiration.

When I first came to Bardingburgh, Concordia's capital city out of a raging curiosity and thirst for the new, I made the Royal Spire one of the places I most wanted to visit out my naievity. Of course looking back now I was a fool to believe I would even get an audience with the High Reagent and Majesty herself Princess Rosetta. Now that the years have past and I have settled down, I have but visited the Royal Spire once, a boon the Princess bestowed on me when I requested a study of architecture and scholarship.

Of course that was all before the escalating tensions between the Great Griffin Houses and the Pony Kingdoms evolved into a full length war. The Princess Rosetta hardly seems to give much time to scholarly and noble pursuits these days, something which aches my heart dearly.
