Bardingburgh Color Sketches 03 by Simbaro Bardingburgh Color Sketches 03 by Simbaro
Two more pieces of color shots from bardingburgh. One set within the lowest areas of the city and the other set in one of the highest areas below the towering Spires

The Pegasus you see here is Lighting Bell, and the garbed pony is Balsam, one of the Oasis Ponies. More on them at a later date I suppose.

All the long lines and curious angles everywhere. The aesthetic style of the city is sure heavy on them, and I like it. The series of round holes in the tower in the upper drawing is a nice touch, and in the bottom one the spires, as seen from this angle, make me think of gigantic spears. This city you're drawing remains consistently impressive, and I certainly like its colour style and the amount of lighting. Been waiting for something of this sort.

Dude, this is breathtaking. Your sense of space and proportion, coupled with the uniquely flavorful building design, just blows me away. This exactly the kind of depth and scale that I've been aiming for. Llama for you.
